I hope you all had a great fourth of July. I am very proud to be an American, I do have a love for my country, I only hope it will remain a God fearing nation, and uphold our precious constitution that stand's in harm's way if someone is re-elected. It really concern's me. I try not to be political and I try my best to be a listener. God help us all.
The fire's have left our area...we did have lovely rain yesterday that was so needed, our church member's had a fast for rain....look's like someone's listening.
I respect those that dont believe in a higher power but feel so blessed to know that there really is one...I have wittnessed to many good thing's come about to ever deny my Savior or my Father in heaven.
Have a wonderful weekend dear friend's in blog land:) Love from Debbie:)
Good to hear the fires have left you. I will just say Amen. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThe photos are lovely Debbie. I really enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are staying cool.

Yay for rain. Glad you finally got wet. :P Yes, had a good 4th! Love your darling fam.
ReplyDeleteI am glad the rain has come and made the fires safe; it must be so frightening. I always feel so sad for the little creatures that get caught up in it as well. We have enough rain here in the UK to donate some!! Have a lovely weekend. Lily. xxx
ReplyDeletePraise God for rain.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to hear that the rain came. As Lily above says, we are having more than our fair share at the moment.
ReplyDeleteSo thankful for rain! Great pics. Looks like a lovely time!
ReplyDeleteI so totally agree with you on everything in this post! We are on a slippery slope in this country and I don't quite see how intelligent people are fooled into thinking that man can make things o.k.......and I too am standing to say God is Sovereign and He is what made this country great and I'm afraid for us if things don't change...so glad the fires are gone and you had rain!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you got some rain. We did too. It rained a little Thursday afternoon and evening. We do need more as does everyone.
ReplyDeleteI have been praying for rain and better conditions for the entire country. Those poor people who have lost there homes. :( And those with out power for a week now. My goodness. I feel sad for the poor animals in the forests too.
I think maybe the fast was church-wide. Bishop mentioned it to me. We missed church that Sunday because of my husbands health problems.
Sweet family pictures. :)
And I agree with your comments. :) Praying here also for the right person to be elected. Four more months. It is scary to think about sometimes. I could get up on my little soap box and type for a long time about what I think of things, but I won't. LOL
Have a great rest of today and a wonderful Sunday.
Take care, Janet W

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed your July 4 celebrations. And that the fires have gone. A worrying time for you I'm sure. Just popped by to say hello from my Pichets in Paris blog. D
ReplyDeletePictuers are lovely, Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOur 4th of July was perfect ~ spent it with our Army son and his wife watching the most beautiful and patriotic fireworks display at Ft. Stewart! In addition to thanking our Lord for all of my blessings, including our military men and women, I pray for our President. And I sincerely hope that he IS re-elected!
