My Inspiration. 5-18-12

I have a gal that email's me about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy....never have I seen her son talk to the camera and hardly ever see him on the video's she has made....all I see and hear is about her and how she reacted.....blah blah blah I say.
I look at these two guy's who face so much every day of their live's and hear some other mother complain about her life....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it drive's me crazy.
They are "Fearless" everyday of their live's and I am so grateful to be a part of their live's...however long (Eternity).
Have a great weekend my dear friend's in blog land.
Love sent your way.
Love,Debbie:)

  1. I'm with you on this subject....it kills me when parents complain how irritated they get with their children and how mean they can get, my thought is this, you wanted to have children, so now you do, love them and cherish them!!! There are so many women in this world who would LOVE to be a Mother, but are unable to, it just saddens me to see so many children in such terrible conditions, but, these people should be prayed for just like everyone else and let God handle it....I wish you a lovely weekend!! 3. It must be so hard to live every day seeing your sons' struggle to do even the simplest things. How ever their courage and determination bears testimony to their courageous mother! Keep on keeping on my courageous friend! Joan

  4. You can choose to have a life, or to have an existence. It seems your boys have chosen the first option, despite it being the harder of the two.
    Have a great weekend.

  5. Debbie, those boys of yours have thrived and done as much as they do because of all the love you surround them with.. they feel safe and are able to battle this terrible illness because of your love and the whole family's support- in another age they would never have lived so long or been so loved.. you are very special, and they are your angels.. Your hearts must have been very sore over the years from seeing them waste with this illness, but you all never gave up and they know this and that is why they are still with you.. Their battle goes on day by day, but with you and their family by their sides, aren't they doing a great job living!!? That other person blogging, is never going to know the depth of wellness that you feel with your boys, she is too outside with her emotions to be able to relax and appreciate her child in the same way. I feel sorry for her, but there is a saying 'God only gives us a burden we can carry.'.. obviously the load you have is lightened by your love... I take my hat off to you, and send you love and hugs from across the pond! Janzi./give those boys a kiss from me too!!

  10. Your a good mom I'm glad I have you. You have always put us kids before anyone including your self you taught us to be strong and to put people before our selfs. I believe the reson why the boys have done so well is the way you have loved and pushed us to be strong and not dwell on the negative and to be greatfull for the time we do have. I'm greatful to have them as my brothers they have been my insperation in my life and have made me push for better in my own life and not to complain of how bad I feel or moan and grown about my hurts. They are very strong and the strongest men that go through so much on a 24/7 basis. I have never heard you say poor me,why me or make it about you. I'm sorry I've added more pressure these last years but I'm ready to take my responsibility back and be the mom that I had in my life and the example every child should have in their life as I did and still do. I'm sorry I've taken things for granted and its taken alot of rough bumps to
realize it. Thank you mom and I love you

  12. I've said it before...they are my 'Warriors'.
They battle without complaint! They are strong because they are loved by adoring, nurturing, dedicated parents...whom I adore, respect and love! I look forward to being there soon!

  15. It is odd how some people turn everything back to be about themselves; she sounds like a selfish woman. It is sad to think that her child won't get the same love and encouragement that yours have clearly always had.
