Lost Sheep!!! 4-3-12

Oh I feel like little Bo Peep and have lost my sheep...well one sheep(my daughter DeeDee) I can not understand for the life of me why she keep's going down all the wrong road's and has chose the bum she live's with over her children. DeeDee took the children Thursday night and wouldnt bring them home...so I was just about to let her keep them, good thing I didnt...she was evicted from her apartment, quit her job and look's like a walking skeleton...what's a parent to do? And the children were let lose to just run, with junk for meal's...why why why??? I dont understand someone who had the world at her finger tip's and let it go for one horrible man.I really am just going to settle with the fact that I will be raising my grandchildren...the poor thing's are so torn up again.
I am so sorry for unloading but you alway's are there for me, my sweet blogging friend's.
I will alway's be grateful for you....you are my sunshine some day's when I cant seem to go on...but you shine my way and let me know I am loved.
Love from Debbie:)

  5. I will continue to keep you in my prayers! God is good and faithful!! ;) xo Heather

  6. It is so utterly frustrating when you see people making obvious bad choices. I pray your daughter will eventually see what she is doing wrong. In the meantime how lucky that your grandchildren have you to care for them, so many children in similar situations have no-one looking out for them.

  7. You just have to remember things happen for a reason if it doesn't seem like it at the time and I will be thinking of you all.

Take care sweetie sending hugs and love.

    Bee happy x
    Have a delicious day!

  8. Dear Debbie, I'm so sorry you are going through this terrible time. Children are a lot easier when they are younger and actually listen to their parents. They say love is blind and that is so true. Lots of love and hugs xxx

  9. ohhhh...so sweet. Dear Debbie and lovely family. Have a Happy Easter!

  10. Every family has troubles and sometimes we just need to share them with our friends! I am so sorry for the children and will pray hard for them, you and your Daughter! Have a blessed day my friend, BIG HUGS!

  11. Hi Debbie, I am so sorry about your daughter. Prayers and kind thoughts for you all!

  12. Oh Deb, I am sorry for all you and your family are going through. My daughter went through a time when I was questioning her decisions, but with time and maturity she is back to her wonderful self! Please hang in there, and take care of those sweet children for now. I will pray for you all. Things happen for a reason. I also wanted to thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving the very nice comment. I'm so glad you are enjoying my Serendipity Studio adventure. I love it so much. Take care and have a wonderful blessed Easter.

  13. My prayers are with you, your Grandchildren and your Daughter......It's a hard thing to comprehend, but God will carry you through! Xo ~Ashley

  14. Your heart will always be wrapped around your girl, no matter where she is.....and the Lord knew what He was doing when he made a mother's heart so expandable.
The errand of angels is given to women.....I know you know these words, so please take comfort, and strength from them.
There will come a day when your girl....and her babies....will call you Blessed.
You are all in my prayers.

  15. Gosh that sounds like something my friend did! She moved to another town to be with a guy and they ended up breaking up! She got with another guy and the same thing happened! I haven't seen her since she moved and by the sounds of it she hasn't learned from her mistakes!
Hope your daughter see's some sense! =D

  16. Hi Debbie, I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I’m also happy that you have your grandkids. Just wanted to stop by your blog and say thanks for being a follower. I hope to stop by more often.

  17. The best thing you can do for your daughter and yourself is to keep praying. I know He will buoy you up when You feel that you are going to crumble. How blessed your grandchildren are to have you and the security/stability that you offer. God bless you all.
    Thanks for being a follower.

  18. Oh my- thank goodness your grandchildren have you and your wonderful husband to surround them with love and security.

  19. Greetings Debbie,
And despite such trials and tribulations I have read in your article, your uplifting positivity and the ability to be grateful, despite it all, shines through with utter brilliance.
Indeed, you are a truly remarkable lady and you have my utmost respect.
In admiration and peaceful wishes, to you and your loved ones, Gary

  20. I am so sorry. It must be so hard, and I suspect that a part of you is wondering where you went wrong. The short answer is that you didn't. She is an adult and able to make her own mistakes. Drat it.
I am thankful that you have her children so that they can know the love and security that ought to be every child's birthright.

  21. Hi Debbie. Thank you for finding my Pichets in Paris blog and following. It lead me here to you and I've repaid the compliment. How sad for your grandchildren, but this is becoming relatively common these days. I'm sure you will do an awesome job with these beautiful grandchildren.

  22. Thank you for joining me Deb, so I have come to see your blog.

What heartache is expressed in your words above. The way that our kids choose is not for us to decide, but the pain that they can cause is unimaginable. Your Grandchilren are very lucky you are able to help and be their secure safety net. Hard as it is, all you can do is pray for her to get some idea of what she is doing and then re arrange her life. She sounds like a very lost soul, but God is with us all whether we like it or not, and He is watching over her, so try not to despair. It will come right in the end, I do hope so, and we are all praying for you. As grandparents it is hard to see the affect on her children, but you will help them I am sure. Every one has their own road to follow, and it seems that for whatever reason, you girl has such low esteem of herself that she tries to find it in her relationship.. what she doesnt seem to realise is.. her kids are the best thing that happened to her, and they will always lift her self esteem up even without trying. She sounds quite depressed, but I guess nothing you say will get her to the docs to see if they can help. In the meantime, you and your darling husband hang in there, the rewards are huge, in seeing your little ones thrive in your company.. and one day I am sure, your girl will be back to love them again... God bless from across the Pond.. Janzi

  23. this is the sewwtest blog i have ever come across! your posts are so nice to read, keep it up!

  24. Pray for Dee-Dee to find her way. My parents never had anything to do with my son so it is a reverse situation for me and I hurt a lot because a child needs grandparents and I think your little crew there are mighty thankful to have you in their lives.

Grandparents are worth their weight in gold and I would give everything I have for my son to have a grandparent who cares about him. Stay strong!

  25. Oh Debbie, I am so sorry to read of your troubles. I don't understand what makes people make such silly decisions, but I am grateful that your grandchildren have you to stand by them. I hope that with time your daughter realises her mistakes and things can be mended.

  26. I'm so sorry that you have this sad situation to deal with. It's hard to understand people's choices sometimes. I hope that all will turn out well for her, the children and for you. Thanks for coming by my blog and following. It's nice to meet you. Melissa

  27. HI Deb,

Your post title says it perfect. While I can't and wouldn't tell you I know what you are going through, I can say I certainly can empathize with you. Similar situations have occurred in my family. Keeping you in my prayers and wishing those beautiful grandbabies a very blessed life. Praying for your daughter as well that she finds her way from this lost path she has taken. = /
