Easter sunday. 4-8-12

He is Risen!!!! He is the reason for the season. (Blessed Easter)

I thought I would get crafty...

Get the old glue gun out and start making some flower's, but of course I have to sew them first then I hot glue them together with bead's as the ceanter.

Ta da here is the fnished product...now to embellish.

There are twelve of the little ribbon flower's (i'll end up making one more)

This is the beginning of the banner...I bought a really cute cricut cartridge that make's lace edge's.
Putting it all together.

Finished banner for spring.
Oh and we cant forget the coloring of  the egg's with the grand kid's.
Cant believe it has been a year already....it seem's like we just did this.
Each one had their own station to decorate....

Here are some of the beautiful egg's they dyed....wow. Now they are busy playing with their basket's scattered all over the house. Waiting for grandpa to get home from church to hide the egg's (yeah).
I hope you all have a blessed Easter.
Love sent your way.
Love,Debbie:)

  1. Happy Easter to you! Your yo-yo flowers are very pretty. They look professional! I've never tried making them from a strip like that, only from circles cut out, and mine are always AWFUL. Maybe I could learn a thing or two from you!

  17. So pretty! Your hot glue skills put mine to shame! The last time I used one (for my Halloween costume) I ended up with a burnt finger, thumb and oddly, shoulder. Then the costume fell apart an hour into the evening. Do you give lessons?
