Beautiful Dee's update. 10-9-11

Off to School....Tommy is much better as you can see, he love's that shirt, every time I wash it he grab's it from the top(his parent's bought it for him). They all have new jacket's but the snow has come to our house and they have to wear their coat's now.

Look who came to our house the other night. One of our chicken's was out of the chicken coop for most of the day....it started raining and she lost her way, but found a light in the house and decided to rest on the window ledge...Hub's came home and rescued her back to her coop.

Oh boy did Ferggie and Cocoa want chicken dinner that night.(I would not let them out).

Look what we had yesterday morning...you couldnt even see the mountain's.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I can see the mountain's today with alot of snow on top. Wow I really am not ready for winter, we have had such a mild nice summer. But the wheather man said we are to have nice wheather one more time untill the big snow flies.
Love to all.

  1. I'm still waiting for snow to fall here, right now it's warm outside, I think it's indian summer. Everything looks so much better covered in a blanket of the white stuff :o) Have a wonderful Sunday! Hugs Jennifer

  3. I really enjoy your pictures, Tommy does look a whole lot better! My, that poor hen, it looks like she wants to come in and get warm. The dogs look like they want to go out and help the hen, haha!

Ah, the first snow, always so pretty, generally goes away and makes you remember the summer - just before it really dumps on you! :-)

  4. Thanks so much for the lovely pictures that brought back memories for me -- our little boy going off to school, my childhood home blanketed in velvety snow and the trees shimmering in ice crystals. But our son Brendan is 21 now and we live in Florida -- a whole different world of blessings (and challenges)!
    Love & peace, Laurie

  5. Oh wow, snow! It is sooo beautiful there! OMG, we are still in the upper 90 degree temp here in Louisiana! Now, I do envy you! LOL.

Please give our love to the family, and hope Darryn and Dustin are ready for the cold. Love you!

  6. Glad Tommy is doing better and is back to school. That was cute...the chicken coming to the house. I bet Ferrgie and Cocoa would have had feathers flying and the chase would have been on had they gotten out. Beautiful snow! Hugs

  7. My son loved a shirt also when he was younger and wanted to wear it also all the time. The pictures of the snow look really nice, but not something I want to deal with yet! Enjoy your day!
