Time to Celebrate!!! 8-23-11

This is Miss Rylee who is so excited about school...she was held back a grade because of the misfortune's of her parent's, but today we got her approved to jump ahead to 5th grade. It is a celebration just like when I made her this dress, she was so excited about her new dress so I guess I better get my crafty side turned on again and make her another celebration dress.
I have not wanted to do any craft's for sometime now...but I will do my best for her and her sister, that's one advantage about having a big sister, when I make her a dress she get's one too.
I used to cross stitch alot...here is one of my old post's. I have four cross stitch pattern's that I need to get at, the four season's which I have wanted for year's and my DH bought them for me and they have sat for month's. I really have suffered with deep depresion this last year, but blogging really help's me. It is all of your sweet comment's that keep me going some day's, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope I can conquer this ugly depression, I am trying hard every day. I have lost 15 lbs. and do everything my doc tell's me to do. I am seeing progress but it is slow.
Cross stitch here I come!!!! I hope.
Have a wonderful day. Love from Debbie:)

  4. Hi Debbie! congrats to miss Rylee for jumpin into the 5th grade...Great job! I cross stitch alot too, and have just started to stitch again after a long rest period. I saw that set of the four seasons and love it...problem is...I have so many kits to do that and I won't be able to get them done in this life time...LOL! I don't have a blog anymore but I'll still come to visit as I have been. Cheer up, I know all to much about depression...feel better friend. Hugs, Jennifer

  5. The dress is beautiful and you are a very sweet lady for making dresses for the girls. I used to sew a lot for my kids when they were small. Now I don't have a sewing machine. I also knit and that is sitting untouched too. Debbie, I promise you that I will get my knitting out if you get out your cross stitch.

    Hugs,
    Beth

  8. Dear Debbie
This is my first time on your blog, and so I scrolled down and read back about a dozen of your past entries.

Your kindness shines through your words.

What beautiful dresses you have made for the two sisters! And it made me smile to know one of them was moved up to fifth grade!

If they love school, they will surely learn all they can because of their right attitude.

You have a good way of dealing with the depression - keeping busy will soon drive it away.

Blessings! I truly enjoyed my time here.

    Love
    Lidj
