My HERO!!!!!

These are my precious babies.
Demetrie Dawn Peel born 2-17-81
Dustin Matson Peel born 3-8-83
Danielle Fern Peel born 12-13-85
Darryn Mitchell Peel born 8-14-87
The time has flown by so fast.DeeDee when she turned three.Dustin when he turned one.Best friends.Oh little Dustin did not like Santa. The photographer was a complete jerk and had my babies crying. We had just found out about Dustin having Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. But my little dolls still out shined any one there.Beautiful, Beautiful , Beautiful boy. Run while you can.Dustin our hard core rebel (He say's the South's going to Rise again) him and Charlie Daniels and Hawk Jr.Oh we did have cake at Grandmas. This is my world today.(yuuuck) Will winter ever leave? I have had time to reflect a little today and hope you enjoy some of my reflecting, sorry some of the pics are so fuzzy. I really wanted to give Dustin a belated tribute and thank him for being mine. He was the ideal baby, slept through the night at three months and was always smiling. He loved football and anything with cowboys or Southern rebels(go figure). Now he is hooked on hot rod trucks.
He never complains about being in a wheelchair,he is always the first to forgive anyone,he always feels for the under dog, and  he loves dogs(cats he will tolerate).I am so thankful that I have been able to be his mom for whatever time our Heavenly Father allows me to be. I dont know what I would do without him.
Did you ever know that your my HERO!!!!!!

Almost makes me cry when I think how those wonderful years have gone, when the children were really yours, before they grew up and took over.

  9. Hi Debbie~ a lovely post~ my children are grown now, too, and looking at old photos can make me nostalgic and even a little sad! I am enjoying the grandchildren! Thank you for stopping by and following my blog- I'm glad you did so I could find yours! I have a 28 year old son with a type of muscular dystrophy- not Duchenne's- he also has ulcerative colitis and liver problems. He also never complains and has become a successful computer programmer. I am a new blogger and have enjoyed the creative outlet it allows me! I look forward to reading more from you! PS- I loved the post where you took in the two dogs- my kind of person!
