  1. I don't think we will, as long as we live.

  2. I remember exactly where I was. I was on my computer and my husband was mowing the lawn. I went outdoors and got him. We sat in front of the TV all day long and the yard wasn't finished till the next day.

I will always remember the heroes.

  3. Beautiful Dee I love your post! My nephews FIL is a retired NYPD cop. His daughter Sarah told me the ceremony tomorrow is littered with politicians and the fire fighters and police officers were not invited to attend! This is a nightmare! It is as disrespectful as that mosque being built on ground at the site of this devastation. I am a peaceful person but I am not and never will be politically correct.

  4. I was at home with the news on... which is rare. My husband was on his way to get a client at Ohare Airport.

The first plane hit, and I called him and as we were talking, I watched the second plane hit and I remember saying.... "Oh my gosh, this is NOT an accident. These hits were intentional."

I told my husband to come home and he did. The school called and said, "please do not come and collect your children. We do not want panic. They are safe and they are fine. We are not going to tell them what has happened today and will let you do so as a family."

It was surreal. I cried a lot that day.
Our country will never be the same.
