"Does Dr.Laura Need A Craft Day???"

I was talking to my daughter the other day about how I couldnt wait to post my blanket's on my blog, and she told me that she had been listening to Dr.Laura, and that Dr.Laura suggested that all we do is brag on our blog's and facebook. Wow that really took me for a loop, I thought just because she has chosen a carrer outside the home she should not judge those that dont.
Women have been the main source of the home forever. These women have been quilting, volunteering, cooking, helping troop's and sometime's enjoying a fun day scrap booking or sewing etc....I say God Bless the women who are on the blog's and share their talent's, love and the sisterly bond.I feel like Dr Laura need's a good day crafting. Love ya!!!!!

  1. Lost a little respect for Dr. Laura... I was just getting ready to start a new blog as I just started on the big weight loss journey today. Thought it would be a way for me to stay on track, find some support, and offer support to others! But if I'm just gonna be braggin.... LOL!

  4. Haha...I don't think that blogs are all about bragging...I have read many wonderful things on blogs...encouragements and exhortations. =) Maybe she's looking at the wrong ones. =)

  7. Its unfortunate that some of the younger ones do not understand the stress that it takes to manage a household and to work at home. It is similiar to handling stress outside of the home. I started blogging when I became unemployed. I met so many new people, feel in love with writing, and started to develop my niche.

I finally found a job and I am still writing!

  8. Well, she must not read the blogs, I do. It's a blog-a-dise friendship.

  9. I love your heart and your opinion. I don't agree with her "bragging" statement. Our blogs are expressions of ourselves and a chance to connect with others. I have been blessed by many women's blogs - their hearts, their wisdom, and the work they put themselves into. BTW, your blankets turned out so nice! Wish I was as crafty!

  14. Hehe this did make me laugh. I don't know who Dr. Laura is but so many bloggers do just brag about their 'perfect' lives but there are also many bloggers like us, who are genuine. Well, atleast I think we are! Haha.
